When accessed with a GET request this endpoint returns a user’s profile information. You must request the read_profile scope for your app in order to GET this endpoint and the write_profile scope in order to PUT to it.

The response from this endpoint follows this format:

    "data": {
        "dateOfBirth": "1964-08-06",
        "firstName": "Robert",
        "lastName": "Smith",
        "gender": "male",
        "height": 1.6002,
        "id": 7743,
        "owner": "",
        "weight": 69.3996

Height is specified in meters and weight is specified in kilograms.

Current limitations:

  • Only GET is supported at the moment.
  • The only accepted value for the [user_id] parameter is me, i.e. which will return the profile of the user identified by the submitted OAuth token. In the future, Lumo may allow users to make their profile information public, which would enable apps to access the profiles of users other than those identified by the current token.
